Proof notes:
Grapes from vineyards aged 50 to 60 years, in high areas of the Douro, mostly Rabigato, but also Gouveio and some Arinto. It has beautiful aromatic complexity, with spices and toasted accompanying quince fruit, citrus peel, delicate floral light. Very expressive in the mouth, with lemon and grapefruit evident, great freshness and balance, a lot of tension in the long and crispy end.

Quinta de S. José is a family project that began in early 1999, at the will of João Brito and Cunha's Father, Ruy Brito and Cunha, due to the excellent location of the Quinta houses, practically on top of the river and in a Terroir and characteristics of soils on very particular slopes. In 2005, João Brito e Cunha bought the family the entire area of vineyard, bush and brand of Quinta de S. José to take over and dedicate himself to the project of the production and marketing of wines with the brand of Quinta de S. José.
