Most food products are subject to constant changes in their preparation or manufacture, of which the consumer must always be informed, and SABOR & ART is not responsible for any discrepancies and/or modifications related to the information on them. As such, we recommend that our valued customers carefully read the information provided on the labels or tags of the products, namely, nutritional information, list of ingredients, recommendations for use, preparation and/or conservation, before using or consuming them.

ALLERGEN INFORMATION

Foodstuffs (ingredients) may contain substances that can cause allergies or intolerances, some of which have very serious health consequences.

INGREDIENTS

Before consuming any product, please read the label carefully; it contains the ingredients, recommendations for use, preparation and conservation, if applicable, as well as other information provided to us by the producer or supplier of the product.

Despite our efforts to be as accurate as possible, we draw your attention to possible transcription errors or omissions in the ingredients, so reading the information on this website does not invalidate confirmation of the information on the label of the product you receive.

FOODS EXEMPT FROM THE REQUIREMENT OF MANDATORY NUTRITION DECLARATION

N. 19 OF ANNEX V: Foodstuffs, including foodstuffs produced in an artisanal manner, supplied directly by the producer in small quantities of product to the final consumer or to the local retail trade that supplies the final consumer directly. 

Recommendations 

Sabor & Art will always be careful to mention in the description of its products, some warnings of the most common allergens in the food chain. However, there may eventually be failures or omissions in their disclosure. For this reason, we ask our customers that in case of doubt, they should please ask Sabor & Art by e-mail (geral@saboreart.pt) a request for clarification before purchasing the product in question.

We remind you that Sabor & Art is not responsible for any omission (notices or correct specification) on product labels regarding allergen content by the manufacturer or producer.

In accordance with Directive 2007/68/EC, transposed into national law by Decree-Law No. 156/2008, the list of ingredients containing potentially allergenic substances, which must necessarily be included in the labeling of foodstuffs, follows.

Gluten-containing cereals, namely wheat, rye, barley, oats, spelled, kamut or its hybridized strains and cereal products;

Crustaceans and crustacean products;

Eggs and egg products;

Fish and fish products;

Peanuts and peanut products;

Soybeans and soy-based products;

Milk and milk-based products (including lactose);

Nuts, ie almonds (Amygdalus communis L.), hazelnuts (Corylus avellana), common walnuts (Juglans regia), cashew nuts (Anacardium occidentale), pecans [Caryailinoiesis (Wangenh.) K. Koch], Brazil nuts (Berthol-letia excelsa), pistachios (Pistacia vera), macadamia and Queensland nuts (Macadamia ternifolia) and nuts-based products;

celery and celery products;

Mustard and mustard products;

sesame seeds and sesame seed products;

Sulfur dioxide and sulphites in concentrations greater than 10 mg/kg or 10 mg/l expressed as SO2;

Lupine and lupine products;

Molluscs and shellfish products.
