RED WINE - PAPA FIGS

The CASA FERREIRINHA and its wines are synonymous with time and art. This is the case since its foundation, in the eighteenth century, by the hand of Bernardo Ferreira, who saw the formula refined by the descendants, especially by his granddaughter Dona Antónia Adelaide Ferreira, who affectionately became known as "Ferreirinha" or "Ferreirinha-da-Régua" by the people of his land. At the hands of Dona Antónia, who twice a widow found herself at the head of a large company, Ferreira consolidated herself admirably. Her entrepreneurial spirit has taught her to predict, decide, create, teach and love, making her naked CASA FERREIRINHA and her wines are synonymous with time and art. RED WINE - MIRABILIS

The Quinta Nova of Nossa Senhora do Carmo is a place of extreme beauty, in the heart of the Douro, and owned by the Amorim family since 1999. The family's connection to wine comes from afar, through its connection to the exporting houses of Vila Nova de Gaia, through the cork business, but on that date this connection resulted in the realization of a dream and the Project is now in the hands of the 4th generation of the family. With a history of more than 250 years, the farm displays a preserved moth and the original cellar building of 1764, after interventions by architect Arnaldo Barbosa.

RED WINE - QUINTA VALE Dª...

Quinta do Vale Dona Maria is a property situated near the mouth of the Torto River. Its history dates back to 1868 and has been associated with names such as the Symingtons, who used their grapes to integrate into the vintage Smith Woodhouse. When the Van Zeller family picked it up on this farm, it found it almost in absolute abandonment, with about 10ha of old vines. The recovery work would be arduous, but nothing to keep Cristiano van Zeller away from this arduous task, or he did not come from a superb "school" such as Quinta do Noval, of which he was president. Work was being started on the recovery of the vineyard and houses that were almost reduced to dust. But what commanded Cristiano was realizing day after day that he had a pearl there that he had so much to give. They were also acquiring plots adjacent to the Quinta, until it reached 28ha of vineyard. The inaugural harvest was in 1996 and no longer stopped producing great wines. In recent times, the wines of this farm, CV, Vale Dona Maria, and the recent Vinha do Rio and Vinha Francisca have been among the best wines in Portugal for Wine Advocate, the most important and prestigious wine publication in the world. In the Quinta do vale Dona Maria are also produced the wines of the Van Zellers range, wines that come from grapes bought outside the Farm, but that for their quality, deserve to bear the family name. In these, the professional treatment and rigor is exactly the same as that which is deposited in the wines that come from the farm, there are no facilitaisms.

RED WINE - BAFARELA

There are about 190ha of shale land distributed by the slope of the Torto River and the Ribeira de Galegos. The rugged geographical relief of the Douro Demarcated Region, originates a variety of micro-climates where each agricultural crop has its place of choice. Until the end of the 60's was the olive grove (olive oil) the economic support of the agricultural house. In the 1970s this culture was relegated to the background with the vineyard taking the lead that remains to this day.
